Alright.  To those of you that I watch and that watch me that write poetry.  Please answer my current poll found here:

Poetry writers: Does it offend you if someone comments on your writing style?.

This has recently become an issue over a book that I recently reviewed, the book is here: The Macabre Masterpiece.  It is a book of horror and gore poetry, and every single piece of it rhymed.  

In my previous journal I addressed the current issue with the author and my dislike for perpetually rhyming poetry.  The author, asked me to remove the review from goodreads.com, he also asked that I remove the 2 star rating that I gave his work.

I removed the text of the review from the Goodreads.com page, however, I did not, and will not remove the rating. Because of this issue I have had to, in black and white, lay out my review policy and my rating system over at my blog, Confessions of a Bibliophile and I really did not like doing that, because it should be common knowledge.  However, it is out there now, and because of current interactions with said Author, I will not be requesting any of his future publications nor will I seek to go out of my way to purchase his publications, to me they are no longer worth my time or my effort.

Do you as a poet take offense when someone comments negatively on your style of writing? That is what I want to know.
